The best of mid-wales, our two day guided tour offers a huge amount to driver and vehicle including the famous Strata Florida & Elan Valley.
Breathtaking views, technical trails and vast mixtures of terrain. We have tailored this route so it’s suitable for all driver abilities and 4wd vehicles (please minimum requirements before booking).
Starting on the edge of the Brecon Beacons, we venture east to some local, technical lanes preparing you for the day ahead. We will gradually head north as we wind around various local byways and some better known including ‘Spicy Lane’ and Sennybridge Military Training Area (subject to training times) finishing day 1 in Rhayader.
Day 2 will lead us onto the Elan Valley heading west towards Claerwen Dam and carrying through following the perimeter road around the Reservoir. The afternoon will then lead us to the famous Strata Florida where you will tackle the almighty ‘bomb hole’ finishing the day around 4pm.

Minimum requirements:
– Fully Road Legal Vehicle with Valid Insurance, MOT & Tax
– Low Range Gearbox
– All Terrain/Mud Terrain Tyres
– Spare Wheel with required tools to change
– Camping Equipment for 1 night (hotel option available, please email after booking)
– Suitable Recovery point on your vehicle

– A minimum of 3 vehicles to attend or we may have to postpone the tour
– Camp site fees not included
– A mixture of road and off-road driving
– Some parts of the route may be inaccessible due to weather or heavy rain
– If your vehicle is not road worthy, we have the right to refuse your trip. No refunds will be given
– Anyone driving irresponsibly or going off route will be asked to exit the group and leave immediately
